Australia France: Double Taxation Treaty
Australia’s Treasury recently reported that the Convention between the Government of Australia and the Government of the French Republic for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion – the Australia-France income tax treaty – signed in June 2006, will enter into force on 1 June 2009.
