Description
An international provider of relocation services with an impressive client portfolio and ambitious growth plans now require a Short-term Serviced Accommodation Manager to manage the service providers in this sector.
The role: Short-Term Accommodation Manager, based London [MPI-00205]
Principle Objectives:
The role of the Short-Term Serviced Accommodation Manager is to manage a caseload of relocating employees and their families who require temporary accommodation (typically under 12 months) in serviced apartments. The manager takes responsibility for managing the entire booking process; coordinating all services associated with temporary accommodation and ensuring the employee and family are delighted with the services provided.
This is intended to be an exceptionally sales driven and commercial role, with the ideal candidate having a strong drive to bring the right solutions to the company’s clients whilst improving and creating revenue streams.
Whilst the role will primarily be charged with overseeing STA operations within the UK, it is anticipated that this role will have an increasing responsibility for improving working practices throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as other geographies as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Organise and track STA bookings, including sourcing new solutions when needed.
• Be able to provide coverage during peak times for corporate bookings.
• Provide written documentation to relocating individuals detailing serviced accommodation available/on offer, within the client’s policy
• Manage the delivery of all services in line with the client’s processes to ensure satisfactory experience. Solve issues as they arrive.
• Manage the relationship with short-term accommodation service partners instructed and ensure value for money services.
• Ensure appropriate SLAs are in place with suppliers, conduct regular review meetings, and develop appropriate escalation protocols.
• Maintain meticulous records regarding serviced accommodation providers, locations, facilities and service levels.
• Ensure that all commissions and referral fees are collected in a timely fashion.
• Provide on-going support and advice on the marketplace to clients, including assisting with compiling data to produce Client reports.
• Generate and track referral income where appropriate.
• Play a strong role in the team to support other team members, continually improve services and working practices.
The candidate will:
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be highly numerate
• Have good computer-skills and experience of database management
• Ideally, have experience of the relocation, temporary housing or hotel and travel industries
• Have an in-depth understanding of the London and UK-wide short term accommodation market
• Ideally be multi-lingual with fluency in English the pre-requisite
