Description
An opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation in London on a temporary contract, taking responsibility for the UK Global Mobility programme. This person will run a team and oversee the operational management of the organisation’s global assignee population.
The Role:
The Global Mobility Manager is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Management (and development) of the day-to-day operations of the central Global Mobility Team, you will ensure all aspects of the International Assignees life cycle, from posting to repatriation/retirement, are delivered in a 100% accurate, timely and confidential manner
Develops processes and procedures within the team, which maximize productivity, ensure clear communication and efficiency and effect consistent service delivery
Responsible for ensuring the effective management and coordination of UK owned international assignments & non UK assignments into the UK
Management of Global Policy and Governance
Review, definition, communication and implementation of global mobility policies with a view to achieving consistency and clarity for stakeholders
Management of Third Party Global Partnerships - Tax, Destination Services, Global Medical Insurance. Proactively assessing/negotiating future requirements and current service provided.
Management of the Annual Salary Review for UK owned International Assignees
HMRC compliance in the UK including tax management and risk opportunity
The Person:
Experience of Global Mobility both operationally and strategically
Experience of managing a team
Strong business partnering skills (ability to influence senior stakeholders)
Strong leadership and communication skills
