The Background:

An excellent opportunity has just arisen within this Global Mobility department. Working as a Global Mobility Manager you will be responsible for a geographic cluster and will be overall point of accountability for all stakeholders in relation to the countries within their cluster. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational service delivery delivered to senior level executives. The Global Mobility Manager will have two principal roles – delivery of the ‘concierge’ service to senior level international assignees as well as liaison with the Global Mobility Service Centre for services being performed by the centre for locations within the cluster.

The Global Mobility team is responsible for designing and managing the delivery of all aspects the International Assignment programme as part of the Global HR Services organization. The team is responsible for the management of Long Term International Assignees, Short Term Assignees, Permanent Transfers, Commuters and Domestic Transfers across over 80 countries. The team is accountable for all aspects of the assignee relationship, vendor management, global processes, technology and operational service delivery in these areas.

The Role:

Responsible for end to end service delivery for a group of senior level executives within their cluster, providing a high touch, personalised service

Proactively working with executives to manage their affairs and ensure that the delivery of the service runs smoothly and efficiently

Principal GM point of contact for HRBP’s and other key stakeholders on global mobility issues within the cluster

Technical expert on tax, equity, immigration, social security and payroll compliance for countries in the cluster

Advising HR business partners on GM policies, application of policies, cross border compliance issues and advising on potential solutions for senior level executives

Responsible for making pragmatic and efficient decisions around policy application – balancing both business needs and global governance

Accountable for overall client and user satisfaction for their population of senior executives, ensuring that the GM service delivery meets key metrics

Responsible for ensuring that services provided by the Global Mobility Service Centre is efficient and transparent to ensure a seamless service for individuals based within their cluster

Technical knowledge of HR issues and Employment Law, Benefits and Statutory entitlements for locations within the cluster, particularly the application of these to cross border transferees

Direct interaction with senior level international assignees and managing their desire for policy exceptions within the global exception management framework

Responsible for day-to-day operational interfaces with country/cluster Service Delivery Managers to ensure that operations are being managed across the whole end to end process

Reviewing and authorising Compensation Statements, Assignment Documentation, Policy Exceptions (within approval limits) for senior level executives

Review and sign off Cost Estimates for all new assignment ensuring correct allocation of costs to tax/financial years, categories of income and timing of accruals

Pro-actively identifying cluster operational issues and suggesting process fixes

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to produce quality reporting
Ability to build effective relationships across different language/cultural and organisational styles
Experience in liaising and communicating with multiple stakeholders across regions
Extensive vendor management experience
Global Mobility experience
Experience in PeopleSoft HR and working with HR data is highly desirable.
