Description
An excellent in-house opportunity has just arisen within this Global Mobility department. Working as a Global Mobility Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the assignment process for both in-bound and out-bound expatriates. You will provide advice and support in all areas related to mobility.
The Role:
The responsibilities of a Global Mobility Advisor include but are not limited to the following:
Provide global mobility subject matter expertise to regional HR representatives, business line managers, and Global Mobility Services Representatives
Complete knowledge of and ability to articulate the differences between company global assignment policies and accompanying provisions
Act as a strategic advisor to HRBPs, managers and employees during assignment planning process, advising on appropriate assignment structure, terms and conditions.
Liaises with employees, HRBPs and managers during assignment initiation phase to finalize details of assignment terms
Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of specific regional business needs to ensure that the business maximizes their mobility investments and identify strategies for reducing overall assignment costs
Develop mobility strategies to support anticipated talent/leadership gaps
Resolve employee issue escalations and manage escalated exception requests from Global Mobility Service Representatives, HRBPs and other partners
Prepare Global Mobility program metrics and strategic reporting analysis for regional business leaders, HRBPs and the Global Mobility CoE
Proactively work with business and HRBPs to provide guidance in the management of the end of an assignment
Stay abreast of local regulatory changes and maintain an understanding of mobility trends within designated region and countries within region
Build eminence and relationships within regional / country leaders in the business unit and HR
Work closely with Global Mobility COE to provide input on the Global Mobility program, process improvement, policy enhancement and effective reporting to the business
The Person:
Previous global mobility / international assignment experience
Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
Business partnering, coaching and influencing skills
Strong decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Customer service focus and strong interpersonal skills required
Ability to work in a time sensitive environment
Quality and results orientation with a strong attention to detail
Awareness of quality control, risk, and compliance issues
