Tasks & accountabilities
You will lead an expert organization (Center of Expertise), responsible for the definition and implementation of EADS GAP. For that purpose, you will be required to benchmark and understand international mobility trends, as well as EADS evolution worldwide, in order to translate this into comprehensive policy for global application across the group. Responsibility for benchmarking GAP includes the policy’s ongoing review and enhancement. Responsibility for implementation of GAP across the Group includes the design and implementation of standardized tools and documentation, such as policy guidelines, contract templates and communication material for HR internal use, as well as for business customers. You will also be expected to develop new and innovative, state-of-the art solutions, based on your expertise and current business understanding. You will be expected to participate in strategic discussions around international HR management within EADS.
You will need to ensure the group has access to a broad spectrum of expertise on expatriate tax, social security and immigration matters, both in-house and, where appropriate, through the use of external vendors. You will also be the ultimate responsible for the negotiation, implementation and performance management of contracts with third-party suppliers for all international assignment-related matters, such as tax consultancy, relocation services, expense management, etc.
To ensure delivery of the above, you will have to be a strongly networked individual, who will aligns with peers from within the International Mobility organizations of the EADS Divisions and Business Units and others stakeholders, as well as having strong links with peers in other companies, to exchange, benchmark and share best practices.
You will lead a team of experts located in Toulouse, Paris and Hamburg and will be responsible for all personal leadership topics as well as day-to-day management issues for the Internal Mobility Center Team.

You will be an experienced manager with a solid background in expatriate tax and/or HR processes and delivery of finance and/or HR solutions. Ideally, you will have at least 10 years of strong experience in international management, including a broad range of expatriation topics. You will be able to understand the development of EADS business lines and to translate these developments into innovative and customer-oriented International Mobility solutions. Experience in team management and project management roles are ideal, as is personal, first-hand expatriation experience.
You will have a university degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources management, Business Administration, law or other relevant subject.
You will be a strong influencer, able to understand business and customer needs, translate those needs into strategies, policies and solutions and clearly communicate those to all levels of the business, as well as to external partners.
You will be fluent in English. French, German, and/or Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
