A global, multi business stream business operating in over 50 countries around the world, with a reputation for success and an impressive client portfolio, now has a senior, Director level opening for someone to join the business to lead development of the Information Management, Consulting Services division

Role: Director, Information Management Consulting Services, based London [MPI-00190]

Position Overview:
• Reporting to the Business Development Director for the group, the Director of Information Management Consulting Services will be responsible for the Development and Maintenance of Key Strategic relationships within the records management division.
• The role is a senior level, high-performing relationship manager with the ability to generate innovative solutions and propositions with the motivation to always achieve the best results. Essential to this role is the ability to influence key decision makers at client board level.
• You will be expected to explore, develop and win business opportunities by differentiating the value proposition within the market place.
• You will need to be a competent public speaker with the necessary gravitas to support the business’ market positioning.

Job Function:
Key responsibilities
• Design and deploy from the ground up a client development strategy to secure new business
• Dynamically network with relevant senior client influencers at board and senior management level
• Develop multiple senior contact points with existing clients
• Build, develop and invest in high level strategic relationships with prospective clients at C-level
• Maintain intelligence and be cognisant of Information Management technology and its importance in the market place
• Frequently conduct presentations both internally and externally.

Aptitude, Experience and Qualifications:
• Degree educated in relevant field
• Superior ability to build and maintain healthy and lasting business relationships
• Ability to build alliances and network effectively
• Strong customer orientation
• Confident public speaker
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commercial sense. Attentive to profitability of accounts
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

The position will suit an astute, strategic thinker with a high level of commercial acumen. Used to liaising at ‘C-level’, it is highly likely you will be consultative with well-honed business development and leadership experience.

Previous document management experience is not essential however, experience in consulting services would be advantageous.
