Description
A global relocation services organisation now seeks a director level person to join the senior management team at their London-based offices to develop new business in the corporate arena. This will be a strategic role, developing appropriate board-level relationships as part of the sales lifecycle.

The role: Business Development Director (UK), based London [MPI-00209]

Scope:
• Develop and lead strategies to develop income streams in the UK
• Own responsibility for the annual sales budget
• Lead and coordinate major RFP responses
• Formulate country and market-specific marketing programmes
• Responsible for the delivery of targets, forecasts, business plans and analysis reporting
• Attend Board meetings and prepare Board reports
• Work closely with the Head of Sales, EMEA to support the delivery of the global strategy
• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure smooth transition to “business as normal”
• Display excellent leadership qualities
• Monitor and report on emerging mobility trends to deliver exceptional value to clients

Skills:
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to develop technical business correspondence and excellent presentation skills
• Must have experience of working in global relocation services
• Fluency in speaking and writing English required
• Proven managerial experience and good leadership skills
• Must have the ability to work under minimal direction, be organized and have the ability to prioritize commitments ad projects
• Must have strong customer relations skills and have the ability to work with discretion and integrity
• Must be a team player with a high level of work ethic required
• Proficient in IT applications e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

The successful candidate will likely have 10 years+ experience in relocation with a demonstrable track record of achievement. The role might also suit someone from an Account Management or Operations who seeks a move into a consultative, relationship focused business development role.

Remuneration guide: to £80,000 pa commensurate with experience + bonus + benefits
