Secor Group Announces purchase of Vision RelocationThe Secor Group, a global logistics and mobility services company headquartered in

Washington, DC, announced today it has acquired VISION Relocation Group of Chantilly, Virginia. Under the terms of the agreement, VISION will operate independently as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Secor Group. The Secor Group currently owns and operates 13 companies in the global logistics and mobility industries covering a broad spectrum of specialized service areas.

“The VISION opportunity fit well with our long-term strategic plan and proved synergistic in terms of Secor Group’s service offerings,” said Charles Lawrence, CEO, Secor Group. “As industry consolidation continues, it was vital to our long-term growth and sustainability to expand into other service areas and markets. Over the last three years, our acquisitions of The Davidson Companies and Bolliger have been ‘pieces of this puzzle’. The final piece was acquisition of a relocation company, as it not only enabled us to provide an integrated suite of scalable mobility services but, also, effectively compete against other industry aggregators. We are proud to have VISION Relocation among our portfolio of companies. They are a world-class service organization with a solid base of business and several key global accounts.” “With this acquisition, we gain a well-established parent company with significant industry experience, solid financials, state-of-the-art technology solutions, and a strong support system to better service all of our clients’ relocation needs,” said Rebecca Spencer, CEO, VISION Relocation Group.

VISION has provided full service global relocation management and consulting services for more than 26 years. The Company started as the relocation division of Long & Foster Real Estate. In 2005, VISION Relocation Group, LLC was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of The Long & Foster Companies to better reflect our full service, global relocation focus, and sector expertise. VISION’s Hong Kong subsidiary acquired ReloCenter in 2006, thereby solidifying operations in the Asia Pacific region.

Through the VISION Alliance®, VISION Relocation maintains a Client Service Center in the UK that serves client needs throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). VISION offers comprehensive relocation solutions in more than 160 countries.

“For VISION, we are now able to leverage the full compliment of our parent company’s core competencies, sector expertise, and network, providing us an expanded platform to assist clients with international mobility requirements,” added Spencer. “We will continue to operate exactly as our clients have come to expect – with the same staff, commitment to excellence, and consistency of service – but with the added capabilities of Secor Group.

Ms. Spencer, a skilled business strategist, has more than 18 years of senior management experience in the global relocation industry. She joined VISION Relocation in 2004 and will remain CEO as well as participate on Secor Group’s executive management committee.
