Grant Thornton: Announces a UK Taxation training day
The UK tax legislation surrounding international assignments continues to evolve and create additional complexities for both the assignees and their employers. As the rules become more complex, the tax and social security position of assignees to and from the UK often becomes more difficult to understand, while at the same time the employer obligations become more demanding. Many of these assignees will be impacted further by the introduction of the Statutory Residence Test in April 2013.
With this in mind, the Grant Thornton team will be hosting a training day on 18 June 2012, considering the tax treatment of assignments to and from the UK, and to analyse the recent and proposed changes.
The day will comprise of three sessions and will also feature a global mobility update from Mobility Services International.
