Avrom Goldberg named Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Lexicon Relocation Opens Hong Kong Office
Lexicon Relocation, a leading provider of employee relocation and global assignment management services, announced the opening of its Hong Kong office as well as the leadership role for Goldberg. Located in the iconic Hopewell Centre tower on Queen’s Road East, the new office will serve as Lexicon’s Pan Asia Headquarters.
Lexicon selected Hong Kong for its pivotal position as one of the world’s leading financial and business centres, an established gateway to the Asia-Pacific region and preferred location for multinational companies as well as their regional headquarters.

Avrom will be based in Hong Kong and will report directly to Mancini. “Hong Kong is home to many of the world’s largest institutions and has a history of being one of the leading destinations for foreign companies for global expansion. Hong Kong today is home to more than 3,600 regional headquarters and offices. It was a logical choice for our Pan Asia Headquarters“, said Mancini. “Avrom is a key member of our industry’s best global thought leaders and will be instrumental as we continue to expand Lexicon’s worldwide platform.”
Avrom started his career in the mobility market space in Amsterdam in 1983. Since then he has held various positions of increasing responsibility in all areas of the industry including Global Supplier Management, Sales and Marketing, Consulting and Operations and General Management. He has lived and worked in South Africa, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, and for greater than the last 10 years, Hong Kong.
Avrom has served as Chairman of the Worldwide ERC® (WERC) Global Advisory Council, as well as Chairman of its Global Symposium Planning Committee, Asia Pacific committee, China Committee and (ex-officio) as a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, he is a core member of the WERC team that created and established the highly successful annual Global Workforce Summit: Asia Pacific, held for the first time in 2002. He has also served on the faculty for WERC’s GMS certification training.
Avrom is a regularly featured speaker and has spoken at events on four continents. Additionally, Avrom has many published writings and interviews including those published in China Staff, Human Resource Management China, Human Capital Hong Kong, Bo Le Journal for Strategic Management, Mobility Magazine, HR Magazine, HR World, Corporate Finance Europe and Business Strategy International. He has also commissioned and edited ground-breaking research in mobility studies in the Asia region.
Avrom has been recognized with the mobility industry’s highest honor, namely the Worldwide ERC President’s Award for “Exceptional leadership and Contributions to the Relocation Community”. Also as the two-time recipient of the Distinguished Service Award and the Meritorious Service Award.
Avrom is also a member of the Organizing Committee for The Forum for Expatriate Management’s Hong Kong Chapter which meets regularly.
