31st Janaury - The truth about Global Talent Management – a corporate perspective
Join us for this exciting event where you will hear from two corporates and their strategies for global talent development. In addition two industry recognized experts will share their knowledge and strategies for Candidate Selection/Identification and Talent Management/Development for the global workforce.
Talent Management has become a very complex issue. Global reach, mobility, compliance, corporate culture, candidate selection/development, individualism coupled with generational differences are to be considered when selecting and developing the right talent for international assignments.
Academic & technical intelligence has little to do with emotional stability. Technical abilities to match the assignment objectives need to be in place, however with careful and timely planning these abilities could be improved upon and taught.
However, the psychological and emotional maturity to succeed in an international environment is an area where certain personal qualities must be in place. Emotional maturity is a personality trait, the result of emotional development and the display of emotion appropriate to one’s age and background. It usually reflects increased emotional adjustment and emotional stability and the achievement of emotional self-control.
